We are a custom builder that can help you with a new home, garage, pole barn, tiny house, or accessory structure. We also offer consulting services if you want to be your own general contractor on your new build project. We serve mostly Licking County and areas east of Columbus, Ohio. You can come to us with your blueprints or we can work together with an architect to create them with you. We make it a point to be more flexible and available than the larger home builders. As our name implies, we value truth and reflect that in our openness with our pricing and process of building and consulting.
OUR STORY
I'm Dan Ossman and I have the privilege of living life with four beautiful girls - Melissa, Grace, Quinn and Ruth. We founded our custom-built home company, True Way Homes in Granville, Ohio. Our personal and professional vision is to steward God’s resources through the process of building functional, beautiful homes that foster a purposeful family life.
We started our house-building journey by building our own home, so we know what it is like to want high-quality workmanship while remaining within a reasonable budget and timeframe. We had the time of our lives building our house, and we hope to make it an enjoyable process for our clients as well.
In 2013, we started our construction adventure by buying land to build our first home. We built a shop first and then dove into building the house - living the camper life during the summer, and moving in with the in-laws during the times the water was freezing in the camper (we found there are limitations to our adventurous spirits). My dad taught me how to lay every block in the basement, which is a memory I'll always cherish. Then through researching and watching many seasoned professionals, I learned to assemble each piece of our house from the ground up.
My background in furniture design, rehabs, 3-D modeling, and cabinetry helps bring a custom element to all of our projects. We are flexible to build as you wish and we would love to take a look at your unique ideas. We hope we can lend a hand in the building of your dream and help you find joy as we create your functional, beautiful new home together.
